At Downforce Garage Cabinets, we work hard to ship your garage cabinet order safely, efficiently, and with clear communication from checkout to delivery. Please review this Shipping Policy before placing your order so you know what to expect when your cabinets, accessories, or replacement parts arrive.

Shipping Area

Downforce Garage Cabinets currently ships to addresses within the contiguous United States.

At this time, we do not offer standard shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, P.O. boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or international destinations.

Some remote, rural, or limited-access locations may require additional shipping coordination or special carrier arrangements. If your delivery address may be difficult for a large truck to access, please contact us before or immediately after placing your order.

Cart-Based Shipping Rates

Shipping rates for Downforce Garage Cabinets are cart-based and are calculated during checkout.

Your shipping cost may depend on several factors, including:

  • The products in your cart
  • The size, weight, and quantity of items ordered
  • The delivery address
  • The shipping method or carrier used
  • Whether the order ships by freight carrier or parcel carrier
  • Any applicable carrier fees or special delivery requirements

The shipping amount displayed in your cart or at checkout is based on the order details and delivery information provided at the time of purchase.

If your order requires special handling, delivery to a remote or limited-access location, or additional freight services, we may contact you before shipping to confirm any required adjustments or delivery arrangements.

Order Processing and Delivery Time

Most orders are delivered within approximately 7-21 days after the order is placed.

Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary based on product availability, order size, carrier scheduling, destination, weather, holidays, or other circumstances outside our control.

Once your order ships, we will send tracking or shipping information to the email address provided at checkout. For freight shipments, the carrier may contact you directly to schedule a delivery appointment.

Delivery Methods

Large cabinet orders are typically shipped by freight carrier. Smaller items, accessories, samples, hardware, or replacement parts may ship separately by parcel carriers such as UPS, FedEx, or another carrier.

Freight deliveries are generally delivered by liftgate service to the ground at the truck’s tailgate or curbside area. Freight carriers do not bring products inside your home, garage, business, or jobsite, and they do not unpack, assemble, install, or remove packaging materials.

Please be prepared to move your shipment from the delivery area to a safe indoor or covered location. Some items may be large or heavy and may require two or more people to safely move.

Freight Truck Access

Freight shipments may arrive in a box truck, 27-foot truck, or tractor-trailer. The delivery address must be accessible to large freight vehicles.

If your street, driveway, neighborhood, jobsite, or delivery location cannot safely accommodate a large truck, please notify us as soon as possible. Additional delivery coordination, alternate delivery arrangements, or extra fees may apply.

Downforce Garage Cabinets and the freight carrier reserve the right to determine whether a location is safely accessible for standard delivery.

Delivery Appointment and Signature

For freight shipments, the carrier may call ahead to schedule a delivery date and time window. An adult must be available at the delivery location to receive, inspect, and sign for the shipment.

If no one is available at the scheduled delivery time, the carrier may charge redelivery, storage, or handling fees. Any fees caused by missed appointments, incorrect delivery information, inaccessible locations, or customer unavailability are the customer’s responsibility.

Receiving Your Shipment

Please inspect your shipment carefully before signing the delivery paperwork.

When your order arrives:

  1. Count the pallets, boxes, and loose items.
  2. Inspect all sides of the pallet and packaging for visible damage.
  3. Look for punctures, crushed corners, open boxes, broken shrink wrap, forklift marks, water damage, or missing items.
  4. Take clear photos of the shipment before unwrapping it.
  5. Note any visible damage or missing items directly on the carrier’s delivery receipt or bill of lading before signing.

Do not rely only on the driver’s verbal statement that the shipment is fine. Your written notes on the delivery paperwork are important for freight claims and replacement support.

Visible Freight Damage

If you see visible damage at delivery, please write a specific description on the delivery receipt before signing. For example:

“Pallet damaged on front right corner; box torn; photos taken.”

Please also take photos of:

  • The full pallet before unwrapping
  • The damaged area
  • The shipping label
  • The delivery truck, if possible
  • The affected product after unpacking

Please do not refuse delivery solely because there is visible damage unless directed by Downforce Garage Cabinets or the carrier. In many cases, damaged components can be replaced more quickly when the shipment is accepted and the damage is properly documented.

Concealed Damage

After delivery, please open and inspect all packages as soon as possible.

You have four weeks from the delivery date to report concealed or internal freight damage. If you discover damage inside the packaging, do not assemble or install the damaged item. Take photos of the product, packaging, labels, and any visible damage, then contact us right away.

Damage claims submitted after four weeks from delivery, or claims for items that have already been assembled or installed, may be denied.

Missing or Incorrect Items

Please compare your delivered items against your order confirmation and packing list as soon as possible.

If you believe an item is missing or incorrect, contact us promptly with:

  • Your order number
  • The name or SKU of the missing or incorrect item
  • Photos of the delivered items
  • Photos of the pallet, boxes, and labels
  • A copy or photo of the delivery receipt, if available

We will review the information and help resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Separate Shipments

Your order may arrive in multiple shipments. Cabinets, accessories, trim, hardware, replacement parts, or other items may ship from different locations or by different carriers.

Receiving part of your order does not necessarily mean the entire order has been delivered. Please review all tracking information and contact us if you have questions about remaining items.

Delays

We make every effort to ship orders on schedule, but shipping and delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed.

Delays may occur due to weather, carrier delays, labor disruptions, mechanical issues, supply availability, holidays, high order volume, or other events outside our control.

Downforce Garage Cabinets is not responsible for costs, lost time, contractor fees, installation delays, or other expenses related to shipping or delivery delays. We recommend waiting until your full order has arrived and been inspected before scheduling installation.

Delivery Limitations

Standard freight delivery does not include:

  • Inside delivery
  • Garage delivery
  • Room-of-choice delivery
  • Assembly
  • Installation
  • Debris or packaging removal
  • Carrying products upstairs or through narrow spaces
  • Delivery requiring special equipment beyond standard liftgate service

If you need special delivery services, please contact us before placing your order. Additional fees may apply, and not all services are available in all areas.

Returns and Return Shipping

Returns are subject to approval by Downforce Garage Cabinets and must follow our Terms & Conditions.

Products must be returned in original condition and properly packaged. Return shipping charges may apply unless the return is due to a damaged, defective, or incorrect product sent by Downforce Garage Cabinets.

Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law or approved by Downforce Garage Cabinets.
